We're Moving...to VEGAS!!!

No, really. We are. We're very excited about what God has planned for the future!

Here's the official press release:

"SOS Radio Network Hires Gary Thompson as Production Director

Las Vegas, Nevada – 11/30/09: The SOS Radio Network has hired Gary Thompson as Production Director. In addition, Gary will host an afternoon show from 1-4pm Pacific Time.

SOS Radio’s Program Director, Scott Herrold says: “Gary has a real gift for connecting with listeners. He’s one of the best writers and producers in radio. We’re looking forward to his creative leadership on our team!”

Gary Thompson has been the Program Director for JQ 99 in Grand Rapids for the past three years. In addition, he’s worked for 100.9 KXOJ/Tulsa, 104.9 WCVO/Columbus & K99.1 Dayton.

Gary says: "I'm amazed at the quiet, humble faithfulness with which the team at SOS radio has ministered with huge impact for the last 40 years. Brad and Chris Staley are not in this for accolades, but to reach Las Vegas and every other market they reach for Jesus. Scott Herrold is a razor sharp programmer with a passion for his people and listeners. It'll be great to work with him again. He's a gifted leader."

Gary’s family will relocate to Las Vegas over Christmas break and start at SOS Radio the first week of January.

For more information contact Scott Herrold, Program Director or Chris Staley, Vice President of Programming & Administration."

Congratulations on the move and Gary's new job. I hope Vegas is everything you hope it to be and more.

I may miss seeing you before the move. Our trip to OK is uncertain now do to some family issues, so if you have time in between packing and teaching your kids and blogging and getting ready for the holidays, maybe we can hook up before Christmas.
