Glop Rolls

After having my migraines come back for 3 days, my children wanted to surprise me by making me breakfast. The only problem is that these two children, my 8 and 6yr old, aren’t allowed to work the oven without help from their daddy, me, or their older sister. They didn’t want any help, though. They wanted to do it all by themselves. No problem, I thought. They’ll make cereal or toast. Surely they wouldn’t try anything that is supposed to go in the oven.

That’s what I get for thinking. I was completely wrong. They wanted to cook orange rolls. We don’t often have them in the house because they’re not gluten-free. However, we did today.

They came up with the brilliant idea to put them on a plate and toss them in the microwave.

Because of their lovely appearance, they named them "glop" rolls...and brought them to me proudly.

They actually weren’t THAT bad. In fact, they were kinda good.

When you’re a mom and your kids do something like this, you don’t have a choice but to eat it…AND like it. Neither is optional.

I hope we don’t all die from salmonella or something because they weren’t cooked right. If I stop blogging, you’ll know what happened.

Wow. Those look....delicious. I have eaten some similar things. That just shows how much we love our kids! You are very blessed!!
