Using Coupons & Saving Money on Groceries Part 4: Store Cards

You're almost ready to get coupons.  I'll tell you where to get them in the next segment in this series.

When finding out the coupon policies at your stores, you should have found out if they require you to have a store card to get the sales.

If one or more of your stores requires a store card and you haven't signed up for it yet, you should do that now.  You'll need it in order to get some of the coupons I'll tell you about later this week.

While most stores do allow you to sign up for their card online, I HIGHLY recommend that you do so in store.  Signing up in store gets you a card right away.  I personally recommend putting the card on your key chain.  Anyone who knows me in "real life" knows that I follow this advice.  My keychain proves it!

As soon as you get home with all of your cards, you should then go online to the store's website to register your card online.  This will allow you to take advantage of any digital coupons offered.

Once you've done this, you'll be ready for Part 5 and on your way to saving money with coupons!
